“I knew during my first test on Hockenheimring that I liked the TMG GT86 CS-V3. It is a lot of fun and the TMG GT86 Cup takes place in good basic conditions. The technical support and supply with spare parts is great, as is the prize money available,” she explained.

Each race provides over 400km of tight wheel-to-wheel racing, lasting four to six hours.

Competing outside of the TMG GT86 Cup, the TMG United team is a very special concept. It is made up entirely of volunteers from TMG, to give them a chance to put their motorsport expertise to the test whilst also learning valuable new lessons which can be implemented in their day jobs.

Personnel from fabrication, freight, car design and student workers, who do not normally have a chance to work at the track, give up their own time to participate in the project, which involves complete car preparation between events as well as race weekends.

In 2013, 22-year-old Moritz Oestreich was chosen after a long selection process to drive the TMG United GT86 CS-V3 race car. This year, 28-year-old Charlotte Wilking join Moritz in six VLN races as TMG continues to nurture up-and- coming talent.

Jutta Beisiegel sums up the TMG GT86 Cup: “It’s not only for old dogs but also something for new drivers with, perhaps, new tricks. I think it is a very successful concept!”
