New insurance offering for tri market Triathletes don’t have to lock up their kit during transitions at organised events to stay covered
THISTLE INSURANCE Services, the company behind Cycleguard cover, is launching Triathlonguard at this month’s Triathlon Show. Professional triathlete Harry Wiltshire has helped develop the insurance package, which has been designed specifically for triathletes. Triathlonguard is available for UK

A key benefit of the cover is that triathletes do not need to worry about locking bikes during organised events in order to remain covered, ensuring their transition time doesn’t suffer. “Triathletes are meticulous when it comes to planning and preparing for a race, whether this is ensuring they have the right kit or are getting the best nutrition,” said Adrian Scott, head of Triathlonguard. “Triathletes kit can soon become a valuable inventory when you consider bikes, wetsuits and running
