Monger, is a 128-page 6¹₂″×9¹₄″ softcover book that focuses on the history of the log- and lumber-hauling O&NW. The book con- tains over 200 photographs taken throughout the line’s history from its construction in the 1920’s through its demise in the 1980’s and short rebirth in the 1990’s. ry, certain model designs have evolved to represent an entire class of motive power. These groups–let me call them umbrella groups–include Geeps, F’s, and end-cab switchers, to name the most obvious. Those terms don’t really tell you what particular model they are, but loosely explain what type of service you can expect to see them in. So it is for the General Electric 70- tonner.
