Doubling up Accommodating more than double the number of people the office was designed for has been a challenge. TCEC has converted all conference rooms to offices and lined the basement with desks in the main office to meet the demand. Te cooperative has also installed two modular buildings for office personnel. Warehouse facilities have been rented in Hooker to store meters, bucket trucks, safety materials and other equipment.

Load growth Te cooperative is growing. Since 2006, the electric load served by TCEC has grown more than any other Oklahoma cooperative. Te acquisition of Xcel’s service territory in 2006 doubled the cooperative’s meters and members, yet the facilities remain the same. Te new facility will help support the growth and expected future growth.
