Win a Free Trip To Washington D.C. as Part of the Youth Tour
Each June, Ozarks Electric sends two area high schools juniors from both its Arkansas and Oklahoma territories on an all-expense-paid trip to Washington D.C. For 50 years this program, called Youth Tour, has been sponsored by electric cooperatives all over the nation. Youth Tour participants visit sites, including national monuments and memorials, Smithsonian Museums and Mount Vernon and get to meet with their state’s representatives and senators.

Rebates For Oklahoma Members Continue
Rebates continue for Oklahoma cooperative members for heating, cooling and water heating equipment. Eligible equipment and the available rebates are:
Electric Water Heaters - $50 rebate on .90 efficient new unit or replacing an electric water heater with less than .90 efficiency. (No rebates are offered on replacement of gas water heaters.) Room Air Conditioners - $50 rebate on Energy Star™ rated. Ground Source Heat Pumps - $500 per ton rebate on Energy Star Plus 2™
rated (19.1 EER). Dual Fuel Heat Pump - $150 per ton rebate on Energy Star Plus 2™ rated. (15.5 EER – back-up heat must have automatic thermostat control and natural gas, propane or fuel oil supplemental heating system.)
