Local group meetings MAG is a democracy, here is how it works
The purpose of local groups is to generate local political activity and raise funds for MAG. You can attend with no obligation but if you want to take on a local role then your help will be very much appreciated. Local reps and groups are co-ordinated by a Regional Rep. Any member can stand for the position of Regional Rep. Regional reps are elected by members within regions at regional AGMs. Regional reps sit on MAG’s National

Committee which is the parliament of MAG that determines policy and tactics. Regional Reps are the only National Committee members with voting rights. Ordinary members can attend National Committee meetings if space allows. Requests to attend should be made via a member’s rep with the National Chairman determining if the request can be accommodated. All members have a vote at the Annual Group Conference which moves location around the UK.
