Our latest MAG member is Auritech a UK company with over 20 years' experience of designing custom-fit hearing protectors largely for professional and military use.

Auritech have recently launched Biker Hearing Protectors. Unlike traditional foam, wax or silicone earplugs the protectors contain precision-tuned, patented ceramic filters. These ensure maximum protection from dangerous levels of engine, wind and road noise. Critically, the unique frequency- selective filtration process allows conversation, sirens and horns to remain clearly audible, without the muffling effect of conventional earplugs.

Auritech filters are formed with a venturi-shaped sound channel from high-grade ceramic material (zirconium oxide) at very high temperature so their internal aperture surface is perfectly smooth. This results in more precise sound attenuation than the plastic filters traditionally used. The silicone-free, hypoallergenic thermoplastic outer construction makes them comfortable to wear for extended periods, and is reusable.

"I have been using Auritech Biker Ear Protectors, not only for riding, but also in the pit lanes at the Moto GP. They are very comfortable, and do the job.

This last year at Bikers Gearbox has been a tough one. The loss of my Husband - Puttie - was a great shock to my Son and me and also for a lot of our customers, who knew him very well and for them, visiting our stand at various rallies, was a port of call. A lot of people assume that Bikers Gearbox is no more. We are still trading at Matlock Bath in Derbyshire. I want to thank everyone who have given me their much needed support. Thanks to MAG for helping me to let people know that we are still here. We will offer a discount to card carrying Members of MAG (additional form of ID will be required).
