A break from the crowd
With 25 years experience in building lightweight durable trail and Enduro motorcycles behind them, AJP enter 2013 with no less than three entirely new offerings to tempt off road riders of all ages and abilities. Economy is also a major consideration with our bikes, with prices starting at just £2150, affordability is built in.
Firstly the new watercooled 250 cc PR5 replaces the previous air-cooled model. Lighter, faster and more powerful, the engine has been designed and made exclusively for us. Perfect as an entry level, clubman enduro tool, or an economical “fun bike” for the trail rider and priced from an amazing £3850. Weighing in at almost 35 kilo’s less than similar Japanese offerings, it’s a “no-brainer” if you spend more time on the dirt than the tarmac.
We’ve also added a 240cc engine to our proven, dependable, air/oil cooled range. With a longer stroke, it pumps out more grunt than our previous 200cc offering and is going down a storm with riders who value strength and simplicity in their bikes. The 2 valve engine has an enviable reputation for unburstability, while delivering ample power for mud plugging.
Both models feature our trademark cast aluminium frame and swingarm for strength and lightness, providing a taut handling platform. While our engines are tuned for reliability and economy, keeping running costs to a minimum in these difficult financial times.

There’s also a new entry level 125 cc model, dubbed the City Trail. Based on a smaller frame size with more budget oriented suspension and cycle parts, it’s nonetheless capable of the odd foray into the bush. Especially suitable for first timers, it weighs in at an incredible £2150 and its 80mpg + economy means it doubles as a fine winter commuter.
