Beasts are our friends Monty

As someone who has ridden the wall of death as a passenger on a solo motorcycle I have to say this cat is looking pretty cool, Ed

Silly old parents

The mother of a 17-year-old girl was concerned that her daughter was having sex. Worried the girl might become pregnant and adversely impact the family’s status, she consulted the family doctor.

The doctor told her that teenagers today were very wilful and any attempt to stop the girl would probably result in rebellion. He then told her to arrange for her daughter to be put on birth control and until then, talk to her and give her a box of condoms.

Later that evening, as her daughter was preparing for a date, the mother told her about the situation and handed her a box of condoms. The girl burst out laughing and reached over to hug her mother, saying, “Oh mum, you don’t have to worry about that. I’m dating Susan.

Arrest this woman, she’s ugly

A man dialled 999 to complain to police that a prostitute was ugly after meeting her outside a hotel.

The caller told West Midlands Police he wanted ‘to report her for breaching the Sale of Goods Act.’

But an officer in the call centre at Solihull, Birmingham, responded by telling the man the woman had not committed any offence while he on the other hand by soliciting for sex had done so. A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “A 999 call was received by police from

a man wishing to complain about a sex worker he had met on a hotel car park.

“The caller claimed that the woman had made out she was better looking than she actually was and he wished to report her for breaching the Sale of Goods Act.

“When he raised this issue with the woman concerned, she allegedly took his car keys, ran away from the car and threw them back at him, prompting him to call police.”

The force has now sent the man a letter warning him about wasting police time.

Pete Walker is just a big wuss shock

Pete Walker, Yorkshire events supremo and self- styled Crown Prince of the county, has been in the wars again.

This humdinger of a bruise was supposedly the result of a heavy fall while engaged in the noble pursuit of site clearance after this year’s Farmyard Party. Or so Pete, ‘Big Hair’ Walker would have us believe. Sadly for him The ROAD’s spies have discovered that he was in fact knocked off his feet by a ten year old girl in a Shirley Temple outfit.

The accident happened while Walker was working

The things you can do with airbrushing eh?

in security at a primary school party. Eye witnesses reported that the drama unfolded during a vigorous rendition of ‘On the Good Ship Lollipop,’ when the child soloist gestured expansively with a feathered baton and Walker, who was standing, arms folded but off balance, was in the way. NB Any similarity between

this story and earlier tales of the misfortunes of Mr Walker are no more than coincidence.
