ABOUT VERSATILE
In 1966, Versatile was the fi rst company to mass-produce articulated four-wheel drive trac- tors. Despite several changes over ownership in the past 40 years, Versatile still builds the most dependable tractors in the industry at the same factory in Winnipeg. The partnership with Cummins dates back to 1966 and Cummins remains the exclusive engine supplier to Versatile. Versatile front-wheel assist tractors are available from 190-310 horsepower and the four-wheel drives are available from 350-575 horsepower. The entire line of Versatile four- wheel drive tractors are available with CAT® powershift transmissions.
Known for reliability, durability and ease of service, the Versatile product line has expanded to serve the needs of large acre producers. The Versatile SX275, a mechanical-drive self-propelled sprayer with a 1,200 gallon stainless steel tank and boom sizes up to 120 feet, is built in Willmar, Minn., and is powered by a Cummins QSB 6.7L. With a focus on boom stability and effi cient operation, the SX275 provides growers and commercial applicators with a rugged alternative to hydraulic-drive high clearance sprayers.
The Versatile line of tillage and precision seeding tools was introduced in 2011. This line includes offset and tandem discs, chisel plows and air drills and carts. The new ML series air drills won an AE50 award of innovation. The precision seeding equipment includes air drills from 28-70 feet and air carts up to 600 bushels.
The Versatile RT490 is the fi rst new combine to be introduced in North America in more than a decade. The RT490 features the RCR360 system where the rotor cage rotates 360 degrees around the concave providing superior threshing and separation. A Cummins QSX 11.9L engine powers the 490 horsepower unit.
Versatile Precision Agriculture Systems (V-PAS) is a full suite of precision agriculture prod- ucts developed by Raven Industries of Sioux Falls, S.D. Versatile is the only original equip- ment manufacturer to exclusively offer factory-installed Raven products. V-PAS is available on tractors, sprayers and precision seeding equipment.
Versatile is realizing the vision of becoming a full-line manufacturer to offer a complete line of farm equipment for large producers.
