Totally Tubular has been producing starter fertilizer products for 11 years. Their quality made starter fertil- izer products apply fertilizer below the seed on a variety of planters. This application puts fertilizer right where you want it, in the root system of the plant. In three replicated checks, Totally Tubular produced a 6.2(5%)/ bushel yield advantage in corn and has become a wide- ly used practice in today’s successful farming opera- tions. Rates may vary, but 5-7 gallons is typical. This simple yet effective design is totally protected by the disc blades, so rocks should not be an issue. The 1/8 inch wall, 3/8 inch stainless tube will easily outlast the disc scraper. The optional seed bounce fl ap closes the opening between the disc openers assuring correct seed placement by eliminating seed bounce and ricochet.
