Dawn Equipment Co. is a Sycamore, Ill.-based manufacturer of premium ground engaging row-crop tools. Since 1993, the company has built top quality products out of American made components. Working always from fi rst concept, the company develops innovative precision agriculture systems that adapt to constantly evolving farming practices.

FEATURED PRODUCTS FOR 2013-14 • Curvetine™ M-Series Closing System — The most exciting aspect of the Dawn M-Series closing system is its modularity. The re-greasable forged hub features Timken® tapered roller bearings and pressed in studs for quick mounting. In just a few seconds, you can switch from the Curvetine-M wheel, to a heavy-duty, steel rimmed rubber wheel. Whether you need more fi rming or more tillage, the M-Series hub provides a reliable platform to accommodate changes in soil and tillage practices.

• RFX - Hydraulic Planter Down Pressure System — The latest RFX model incorporates a larger bore diameter capable of providing greater down-force at lower hydrau- lic pressure. The RFX unit allows for a greater response time ensuring maximum accuracy for seed depth placement even at higher planting speeds. Integrated accumulators in each row-unit allow every row to operate effectively and accurately without line-pressure spikes due to in-fi eld obstacles on adjacent rows.

PRODUCTS • Fertilizing Application Equipment: 6000 Anhydra Universal Fertilizer Ap- plicator and the FreeFarm Liquid Fertilizer Applicator.

Curvetine™ M-Series is a drop-forged modular system released late fall of 2012

• Tillage Equipment: 7772 Pluribus Strip-Till Unit and Trashwheel™ Row Cleaner. The Pluribus was awarded the No-Till Product of the Year for 2012 by readers of No-Till Farmer’s Conservation Tillage Guide.
