In 2012, Schulte Industries celebrated 100 years of producing industry leading products to its valued customers and continues in that tradition in 2013.
From its background of well-built agricultural products and its start as a humble welding shop started by Casper Schulte with his son John Schulte, to the innovative leading- edge products produced today, Schulte Industries continues to be a leader in the mar- kets it serves. Schulte employs around 150 people at its facility in Englefeld, Saskatche- wan, and continues to design, manufacture and market its diverse line of equipment for the farm, industrial and commercial sectors in all corners of the world. Schulte is moving forward with new products in 2013.
New 2013 products include the FX-318 rotary cutter, the only 18-foot Flex Wing mower avail- able in the North American market today. Schulte Cutters are legendary throughout the mowing industry for being tough and most dependable. The FX-318 continues this renowned tradition, but at an economical price. This mower operates with the same horsepower tractor as most 15- foot fl ex wings, but gains the extra 3-foot cutting width. The FX-318 is an excellent choice for mowing crop residue, pastures, weeds, orchards and roadsides, while maintaining an ultra narrow transport width, making the unit extremely safe and simple to move. FX-318 side skirts are 13-5/8 inches deep. This additional room under the deck, along with high blade tip speeds, allows for a better cut and better material fl ow. Schulte Industries Super Suction 1/2 x 4 inch blades leave nothing behind. Deck rings are standard on the FX-318, which protect the cutter deck from the blades rising when obstacles are encountered. Single 7 gauge domed deck sheds water and debris and increases life of the deck with this easy clean feature.
The RDX-117 Rotating Drum Snowblower and FX-318 Flex Wing Rotary Cutter
Schulte Industries continues to evolve its snow blower line up, including the RDX-117, new for 2013. The RDX-117 features 117 inches (cutting width) of snow blowing per- formance. The 23 inch bottom auger paired with a 38 inch fi ve paddle open center fan, makes cutting through hard packed snow a breeze. The rotating drum on the RDX-117 allows snow to be ejected out the left or right side or through the center chute. Deliver- ing snow directly off the fan blades and out aids in moving heavy wet snow and is more effi cient when using in open areas. The center chute can be used to cast snow direction- ally as needed in confi ned areas. A double chute defl ector is standard and considerably reduces blow back of snow in comparison to single defl ectors. The RDX-117 can also be paired with the Schulte FM-300 Front Mount Hitch Frame, a quick attach frame and drive for 3-point snow blowers.
