Ingersoll Tillage Group is a company with a long and proud history of developing some of the most advanced tillage products in the world. We have spent years perfect- ing a unique blend of boron steel and advanced manufacturing techniques that results in a disc blade that is unmatched for hardness and sharpness.
As steel is made harder, it can become brittle and result in broken discs that fracture and break when subjected to hard use in the fi eld. However, Ingersoll engineers have managed to push their blades all the way to an impressive 52 Rc Rockwell rating without causing brittleness or loss of elasticity. In other words, they’re super tough.
With ResidueRazor™, Ingersoll has been able to put an edge on each disc that’s fi ve times sharper than conventional blades. For the farmer, that translates into both reliability and fuel effi ciency.
Because boron steel is so tough, it takes a special tool to sharpen the edge. Ingersoll has recently introduced a fast, easy-to-use tool called EdgeCare™ Plus to handle the task. Its patented cold sharpening technology extends the life of blades by returning them to a factory approved level of sharpness.
