How has 2013 been for you guys?
It’s picking up now. The summer was slow but things are looking up now. Grand Theft Auto Vwas awesome. It kind of kickstarted everything really.
What’s been selling well? GTA V. Because we’re a relatively small shop we just couldn’t believe it. We’ve only been trading for two and a half years but it was incredible. That’s closely followed by FIFA 14, Skylandersand Disney Infinity. 3DS titles are doing relatively well for us, too.
What’s the reception for the next-gen been like? Moderate. It hasn’t been overly exciting but I think that’s to do with where we are based. We’re quite a small shop in a small market town, there’s only one of us. We still stock PlayStation 2 titles and they still sell relatively well. We have had interest but it hasn’t been on a huge scale.
Xbox One is leading at the moment, its pre-orders are higher. When everything was announced everyone wanted PlayStation 4. But we have definitely seen a turn around and more

What games to you expect to be big sellers at Christmas? Skylanders: Swap Force. Disney Infinitywill also sell well as they’re starting to bring out some new toys such as Toy Story characters. I think people are getting a little bored of Call of Dutynow.
