The global kids phenomenon returns for its third outing on Nintendo’s DS and 3DS.
Katsuma Unleashedmoves away from the series’ previous entries, focusing on standalone hero character Katsuma.
The side-scrolling platformer has gamers play as the Moshi Monsters’most popular character as they embark on a journey across six new worlds.
Using Katsuma’s abilities, including Furi’s Smash and Diavlo’s Flight, players will encounter new bosses to defeat and challenges to overcome as they rescue fellow Moshi Monsters. As they save their friends, gamers will encounter the notorious Dr. Strangeglove and an army of robot moshlings.
Katsuma Unleashedtakes advantage of the 3DS’ StreetPass capabilities to introduce a variety of new features. The mode offers players 18 explorable maps, along with a series of other mini-games.
These challenges let gamers play as all of the Moshi Monsters, each with their own arsenal of moves, as they rack up high scores and unlock new items and prizes.
