Elks Drug Awareness Program


Temecula Valley, CA, Lodge hosted a dinner and awards ceremony for the winners of the lodge’s Drug Awareness Poster Contest, their families, and their teachers. Following dinner, lodge members pre- sented each winner with a certificate and a gift card. The girls’ winners were Nicolas Valley Elementary School student Marisol Reyes (first), Linfield Christian School student Emma Nagel (sec- ond), and Pauba Valley Elementary School student Nyah Edwards (third). The boys’ winners were Pauba Valley Elementary School student Agustin Resendiz (first), E. Hale Curran Elementary School student Paul Horowitz (second), and Temecula Charter School stu- dent Jimmy Bird (third). Pictured with Est. Lead. Chino Valley, AZ, Lodge members awarded medals to Del Rio Elementary School fourth grader Joelle Krogh and third grader Alexandra Thieme to recognize them for winning the lodge’s Drug Awareness Poster Contest.


Sun City, AZ, Lodge members and Elroy the Elk staffed a booth at the Parkridge Elementary School Community Day, which more than 700 parents and children attended. Lodge members provided drug awareness coloring books, crayons, and pamphlets to children and parents who visited the booth.


Fayetteville-Springdale, AR, Lodge members awarded a certificate and a $50 prize to Bernice Young Elementary School student Manisha Thind for winning the lodge’s Drug Awareness Poster Contest.
