Whereas, He served in the US Army and was honorably dis- charged; and Whereas, He has been happily married to his wife, Linda, who is


also an Elk, for forty-four years, and has three children and seven grandchildren; now Be it resolved, that the officers and members of Billings, Montana, Lodge No. 394 are honored and privileged to present to the 2013 Grand Lodge Convention in Reno, Nevada, the name of Cam Cronk as a candidate for the office of Grand Tiler of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America.

Kettelle Jr. for Grand Inner Guard Whereas, The officers and members of South Kingstown, Rhode Island, Lodge No. 1899 recog- nize and do appreciate the accomplishments, lead- ership, and dedicated service rendered by Walter D. Kettelle Jr. to his lodge, the Rhode Island State Elks Association and the Benevolent and Protective


Order of Elks; and Whereas, He has been a dedicated member of the Benevolent and


Protective Order of Elks for forty-five years, having been initiated in November of 1968, was soon appointed lodge esquire in April of 1969, progressed through the chairs and was exalted ruler in 1974– 1975, was elected to the board of trustees and served many years in this position, as well as serving on numerous committees in the lodge and being elected to honorary life membership on March 20, 1980; and


Whereas, He was appointed Rhode Island Hoop Shoot director in


1976, elected as a member of the Rhode Island State Board of Trustees in 1986, serving as chairman of the state trustees, and is still a member of the board; and Whereas, He served as advisor to numerous state committees and as secretary of the Rhode Island State Elks Association in 1979– 1980 and as state president in 1985–1986 and was elected state Elk of the Year in 1988–1989; and Whereas, He served the Grand Lodge as Elks Hoop Shoot director for the New England Region from 1977 to 2004, served as district deputy, Rhode Island West District, in 1980–1981, was appointed a member of the Grand Lodge Committee for Lodge Activities from 1991 to 1993, as national director of the Hoop Shoot Basketball Hall
