But you don’t need to spend months or a fortnight on the trail. A single week will do. Spin the globe, point to where you really want to go, call The Wayfarers, and lace up your boots. Now you’re ready to walk.
Where Should I Walk?
Where to walk? It all depends upon you. But a well- planned week-long walk can take you to the heart of a culture, whether it’s Austria, Scotland, Ireland or Spain. The Wayfarers can bring you to the American Southwest or the forest of New Zealand. And a walk can be the perfect way to see England for the first time or to really explore a pocket of countryside – the Lake District, say, or the Cotswolds -- even if you’ve been to Blighty 20 times.
Destination aside, you should consider the walk ratings for difficulty. The Wayfarers' walks are rated numerically, one to five. Each rating is based on a combination of type of terrain, distance, time and elevation gain. The Wayfarers can help you assess your own fitness when it comes time to choose.
“Having perfect weather, awesome scenery and a very harmonious group helped to make this walk just amazing from every aspect, I had never seen this part of the US. What an introduction, I will return.”
