irstly, the SB screw according to EN 15048 is supplied with nuts and conforms to European directives (CE) marked in accordance with the construction standards 89-106 and 109 EN-1 and 2, which are part of the category of high-strength bolts. Secondly, Vipa has patented a new fastening system with a self-forming screw – SJS - using a threading system that makes the assembly a solid and homogeneous part.
The company also offers other products and ranges in stainless material including A2 and A4, and ferrous classes of
lower resistances. Vipa will also undertake special parts on request. Vipa points out that its quality department continues to update and track the various qualitative standards and improvement
of new products on the market, and standard tests are carried out so that it can always count on a reliable product in every area and business sector. The company specialise in high strength bolts for which it has various types, such as class 8.8, 10.9 and 12.9. Hexagon head
bolts, socket head screws, bolts for heavy carpentry, all with nuts and washers are also available. Vipa also incorporates three branches in Lyon, France, and in Barcelona, Spain, and a detached office in Chomutov, Czech Republic, and will shortly open another branch in Germany.
