arlier in September, Reyher had already staged a large celebration for around 2,000 people only for the company’s employees and

their families. The October presentation was especially for Reyher’s business partners and included a guest speech from Frank Horch, Hamburg’s senator for economics, transport and innovation on the balance achieved by the city’s economy between tradition and modernity. Former managing partner and current chairman of the Reyher advisory board, Hartwig Müggenburg spoke on the theme of “125 years of Reyher – fostering traditions, forging the future.” He emphasised Reyher’s innovative spirit over the last 125 years, highlighting the introduction of its first IT-System in the 1970s, which eliminated the company’s previous reliance on a card-file system. Reyher’s longstanding commitment to investment in advanced business systems is at the core of its excellence in supporting its global customers – something, coincidentally, that has again been marked recently by Reyher receiving another ‘European Supplier Award’, this time from Grohe AG as ‘Best Startup

At the beginning of October F. Reyher Nchfg. GmbH & Co. KG culminated its celebration of the 125 years since its foundation in 1887 by inviting business partners to a special presentation at the company’s new congress center at its headquarters in Hamburg, Gemany. During the celebration Reyher marked its anniversary with a very special donation to support research into a crippling child brain disorder.

Supplier of the Year’. Reyher is supporting Grohe sites in Germany and also in Thailand, Portugal and Canada with micro screws and special turned parts, mainly in stainless steel. Volker Tschirch, CEO of AGA

Unternehmensverband, the Northern German Association for Wholesale and Foreign Trade, emphasised how Reyher sets a benchmark as a modern service provider. Reyher’s joint CEOs provided the opening

and closing presentations. Dr Peter Bielert focused on Reyher as a stable business model. Dr Winfried Gretz concluded by looking at Reyher’s next steps into the future. At the heart of the day was the official

handing over of a 125,000 euro donation to the child care department of Hamburg’s UKE hospital to assist it in its pioneering research work into NCL, a pediatric degenerative brain disorder, which causes blindness, epilepsy and psychomotor deterioration. With the donation the NCL research group was able to buy various equipment for their laboratory. Professor Kohlschütter and Dr. Angela Schulz are pictured receiving the cheque.
