in the recommended loads when using quartz capsules demonstrates JCP’s commitment to fulfilling our customers’ requirements through innovative research and development.” He added: “As well as the improved performance, utilising quartz also means that where reduction

factors have to be taken into account, the higher starting point allows greater flexibility in anchor placement.” JCP quartz capsules are suitable for use in both wet and dry holes, and can be used in overhead applications.

In addition, anchor holes can be drilled using either rotary hammer or diamond-drilled holes. The increased load capacities are now incorporated in the latest version of the JCP Anchor Calculation Programme, available as a free download.

be exhibiting at Fastener Fair Stuttgart and, in addition to its well known product line, it will also present the BB-Timberconnector, post bases (stainless steel look), KR angle bracket, as well as its product range with innovative surface.

Arras to showcase wood

CP explains that by using quartz as a major component of the anchor in place of a traditional glass capsule system, it has achieved an average 38% increase in the recommended load – with the M24 capsule size offering a 100% increase. The new system enables engineers and specifiers to achieve loads that previously would have

UO is a two-part system consisting of one component made of stainless steel sheet metal and one component made of stainless steel wire. The two components are processed separately. DUO eliminates any danger of injury from wall ties sticking out of the inner wall. The sheet metal part remains safe in the fresh mortar in position until the next layer of brick is set. The wall tie type DUO is approved by the supervisory building institute authority Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik for

cavity width of 40mm - 150mm and can be used for fixing of brick façades to back walls of materials including cellular clay blocks or aerated concrete blocks, with horizontal joints of just 1mm - 2mm. “We look forward to meeting visitors at Fastener Fair Stuttgart on our stand F113 in hall 4. As well as DUO we will also showcase our sandwich anchors for the concrete pre-cast industry.”
