UK-based SpringTech Ltd, which also supplies to the oil and gas industry, has opted for a large stand as has Canadian market leader, Liberty Springs. The Quebec-based company is a leading supplier to the automotive industry aiming to use its presence at SPRINGSTEC 2013 to grow European business. olombo Giovanni & Figli Srl joined the group, which now comprises of six engineering companies based in the Lecco region of Italy, with the aim of boosting its visibility in and share of international markets and continuing its quality and service improvement process. This collaboration, recently formalised in a ‘net of companies contract’, has allowed the company to increase its


presence on the international market, thanks to participation at high profile international exhibitions such as the Fastener Fairs at Stuttgart and in São Paulo in 2011, as well as the Fastener Fair in Hannover in 2012. The Group already plans participation at the ELMIA Subcontractor exhibition in Jonkoping (Sweden) in November and the Fastener Fair in Stuttgart in February 2013. In such a challenging period as the current one, Colombo Giovanni & Figli Srl is intensifying its effort in international markets.


As a result its export turnover is now 60% of total sales. The company has also supported its commitment to continuous improvement in quality standards and customer service and satisfaction by installing new software for “in production” Statistical Process Control (SPC) and a new high resolution optical machine to perform a 100% inspection of produced parts. The company has successfully renewed its certification to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 for the fifteenth year.
