Commenting on inflight sales of tea, Marcus Uprichard, senior business manager at Tetley tea said: “Hot beverages can be a lucrative income generator for airlines, but offering the right brand in the right vessel is of utmost importance. Airlines have a captive audience and research shows us that the consumer is


significantly more likely to order tea if they see a recognised brand being served. If that brand is the same as they drink at home then purchase is even greater.” Tetley’s Fresh Seal cup is ideal for airlines as crew can just peal back the sealed layer to reveal a tea bag in the bottom of the cup. Simply add water and a lid and serve.
