Jacky Wright Vice President, Microsoſt IT Enterprise SES


Jacky oversees Microsoſt IT’s Enterprise Services and Platforms through leadership of the Strategic Enterprise Services IT (SES) organisation. She helps drive Microsoſt product excellence by ensuring SES teams improve products and services targeted at the Enterprise. Jacky’s leadership includes more than 20 years of technical and business experience, including key roles at GE and senior management roles at Accenture and Ryder. Prior to joining Microsoſt , Jacky was VP of Corporate Functions at BP, where she led all IT strategy, development and implementation for BP’s corporate, alternative energy, and shipping segments as well as mergers and acquisitions. She holds a BBA from the


City University of New York Baruch College and is a Quality Six Sigma Master Black Belt. She serves on the board for Year Up, the Puget Sound chapter, whose mission focuses on providing urban young adults with development needed to encourage economic self-suffi ciency. As a trailblazer in the technology sector – she is one of very few black women in a senior management role – Jacky is a strong advocate for women and minorities in technology and sciences and regularly engages with Women In Technology communities and groups such as DigiGirlz, which encourages girls to pursue studies and careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
