MARK TWO of MTB Batteries XML light has been revised largley on trade feedback for the original. Most notably, the anodised black shell is entirely new It carries several cut outs to disperse heat faster, while the body has received an anodic oxidation treatment.
The illuminated end cap remains, indicating the
remaining charge. Four modes feature this time around, from high, through medium, weak and flash. On full beam, a very reasonable 1,000 lumens, riders can achieve three hours use. The battery is a four cell, 4.4ah Lithium Ion unit with a protection circuit fitted and all contained inside a waterproof cover. Helmet straps are supplied, as are two sizes of O-
ring for varying handlebar thicknesses. MTB Batteries has also taken stock of a front and
rear silicone wrap light, holding two LEDs and running from a replaceable Coin Cell battery. The lights, which come packaged in a Tour de France branded case, run on both constant and flash.

in a 10, 20 and 38mm rise and will cost £59.99 at retail.
