Pittsford, NY — Saelig Company Inc. has introduced ezLCD compact Smart Touch LCD modules, aimed at speed- ing time-to-market for products requiring an interactive color graph- ics display. The all-in-one modular design combines a color LCD, touch screen, control electronics, memory and I/O, with an easy-to-use USB-pro- grammable firmware environment for quickly creating a graphic client or a standalone intelligent display. According to the company,


ezLCD-301-QK is a rapid, cost-effec- tive way to implement a touch screen color LCD into virtually any applica- tion. The 2.6-in. (66mm) display (400 x 240 pixel), coupled with USB 2.0 and RS-232/TTL interfaces, allows access to a powerful built-in microcontroller and 4MB of flash memory, which can store fonts, bitmaps, and macros. Operating on +3.3V, ezLCD- 301-QK consumes less than 100mA,


and operates over a 0-to-60°C tem- perature range. Simple ASCII-com- mand-driven software is provided
