The new prod- ucts protect 8 individual single- ended AC or DC control lines using grounding lugs to provide tie points for earth ground. The surge protec- tors all have removable screw termi- nal strips for easy installation. Necessary for many wired connectiv- ity lines, the devices protect sensitive electrical equipment on either end of a cable from transient voltages, or spikes, which may be caused by light- ning strikes and other factors. Astoria, NY — A new, miniature SMT Test Point with symmetrical flat-wire design to efficiently and safely test PCBs is the latest addi- tion to the Keystone Electronics Corp. test point selection. This latest “Mini-pad” version
enables high-strength, test point-to- PCB bonding, with a minimal foot- print. In addition to cost-saving, this low profile entry accepts a variety of gripping probes to replace wire-wrap posts and turret terminals. As such it is suitable for testing circuitry of high density PCB packages. This new entry is manufactured from Phosphor Bronze and Silver Plate which can accommodate the use of both lead-free solder and traditional reflow processing.
