Techon Enhances Microshot Needle Valve -- Triples Expected Life
Garden Grove, CA — Techcon Sys - tems, a product group of OK Inter - national, has enhanced the perform- ance of its high-precision TS5440 Series Microshot Needle Valve to
reduce maintenance costs and widen the application range. The enhancement includes an
upgraded seal, made with a more robust material. In addition, a stain- less steel air cylinder version has been added to the valve series. The new tougher seal extends the valve life by at least 300 percent, which translates into higher productivity and lower maintenance costs. The new seal also allows the valve to han- dle more aggressive and abrasive flu- ids. In addition, the new stainless
steel valve is suitable for use in harsh environments. The part num- ber for the new valve is TS5440-SS. The TS5440 Microshot Needle
Valve series is designed to dispense low to medium viscosity material with very precise deposits over a wide range of shot and bead sizes down to a fraction of a micro liter. An internal spring return
makes the valve fully adaptable for use with the company’s time/pres- sure controllers. A short opening stroke provides
extremely fast, positive shut-off. An external stroke control adjustment makes it easy for the operator to fine tune shot sizes. The unit’s compact design al -
lows for mounting flexibility and easy integration into automated
applications. Contact: Techcon Systems,
