Employee wellness and satisfaction is

directly proportionate to customer satisfaction. Unhappy staff will result in unhappy customers. We had to ensure, from an external perspective, that our employees have the right frame of mind and the right work / life balance. We needed to independently identify areas where improvements were called for and we wanted to pitch ourselves as a BCTWF. We compete for staff within South Africa and the rest of the world. And in the programming software engineering environment that competition can be extremely difficult. But not only did we want to recruit the best

Marthinus Strydom, MD explained why Eliance got involved with the Deloitte programme; “We have been doing internal employee surveys as a method to gauge the efficacy of our employee welfare programmes and of our management practices for many years. But we felt a need to benchmark ourselves externally against our competitors, our peers and other organisations in South Africa.
