icrosoft SA, with the captivating Mteto Nyati in the MD seat, elevates employee engagement to phenomenal heights. The organisation harnesses employee inputs to navigate the ever-changing business landscape. They achieve this by eliciting regular conversation around insights that employees have on their internal and external environment. Nyati feels that it is this liberation of the collective power that helps guide and keep the organisation relevant in South Africa today.
Nyati continues, “The other reason is that many employees today have the same degrees that leaders have; sometimes more. We need to leverage their knowledge so that they feel part of the organisation in terms of setting the direction. The only way I know how to do this is to engage with them and get their input. And then to implement those inputs.”
