Brompton


BROMPTON stepped into the clothing sector last year with its Oratory Jacket boasting bespoke tailoring with high- tech durable materials. The Eurobike Gold Award winner is on its second run currently and is due a makeover in the next few months. We hear it will be accompanied by a female jacket and one or two other items of apparel. Partnership THE SUITPACK rucksack provides a crease-free solution to cycle-commuting, CDP says. Still at prototype stage, the compact rucksack uses a patented roll-fold concept. Designed to hang easily from locations wherever required, it allows easy-access to the clothes and toiletry and shoe compartment, with a novel folding system. Buff


THE REFLECTIVE Buff is based on the original Buff but with the added benefit of two retro-reflective strips to up levels of visibility. Made from 3M Scotchlite these strips appear brilliant white when illuminated by vehicle headlights and so make the wearer clearly visible. The Reflective Buff also benefits from all the features of the Buff Multifunctional Headwear range. It is seam-free, highly breathable and wind resistant, worn around the neck, or even under a helmet. The Reflective Buff (priced at £14) promises to keep the cyclist warm, comfortable and protected.


Fisher Outdoor


MASTER LOCK has launched a new winter commuting-friendly version of the Street Fortnum D-Lock. It has light reflective yarns woven into the shackle cover sleeve to ensure that riders can be seen when the lock is attached to the bike. The lock has all the features of the standard Fortnum including a Gold Sold Secure rating, fixing bracket and lifetime guarantee. The lock retails for £44.99. Distributor Fisher says there are some
