Smart Lights targets safety
First-time exhibitor,
Smart Lights, has developed the IQ Series MT-10 wind reactive lighting tower, which will be promoted on its stand. A sensor constantly monitors the prevailing wind speed and automatically lowers the mast when a safe limit is reached, eliminating the risk of the machine toppling.
The mast must be raised later manually, to ensure a visual inspection is carried out of the tower and the ground around it. The machine offers both a timed and photosensitive control facility, for optimum operation. An external power
supply can be taken from the lighting tower,
for applications such as
to provide light and heat to a small cabin, and lifting points are incorporated to facilitate manoeuvring on difficult terrain.
Climb with Altrad Belle
New products from Altrad Belle will include Alu Site Staircases assembled with components from the Plettac Contur multi-directional system scaffold. Available in various heights, they are designed for quick erection by users requiring a reliable and safe means of access on site. A revised version of the PCLX320 plate compactor will be shown, incorporating a 14 litre water tank and additional frame protection. Two new 450mm floor saws will also be introduced, namely the Ranger 450 series, which are available with either a Honda petrol engine or a Lombardini diesel unit, and are designed for use on concrete and asphalt. In addition, the stand display will include the BMD300 Minidumper, which now has the option of a snow plough attachment, to be exhibited for the first time.
Latest Wacker Neuson dumper additions
Amongst the exhibits on the Wacker Neuson stand will be an example from its recently announced range of tracked dumpers (reviewed in our November/December issue). Also on show will be a 28Z3 zero tail swing mini excavator fitted with the company’s Vertical Digging System (VDS), which enables the cab to be tilted into the upright position for operator comfort and enhanced efficiency when working on gradients of up to 27%.
