“Easi-Hire was developed as a straightforward but comprehensive package. For example, it has its own accountancy software, enhancing its ability to provide a mobile system giving users all the information they need. However, it can also merge with other third party programs. Extra functionality

MCS has also developed a .NET version of its MCS-rm software, which will be demonstrated at the Show. “As well as being simpler for many users to set up a network, it will be easier to add extra functionality to the program in future,” said Sales Manager Nick Thomson. “Developments can also be implemented faster, ultimately reducing costs for the customer.” MCS will also be demonstrating aspects such as its web portal, barcode technology, and improved information gathering through KPI reporting.

Other systems can require a dedicated networking infrastructure, with terminal access services and client access services having to be installed before the system can be used.

“Key2 can operate on an organisation’s own network, or Jaama can host it if required. We believe it is easier to implement, and the software has built-in functions for accounting and report generation. It can integrate with other third-party applications if required, has a CRM capability, and can help organisations reduce their operating costs by tracking utilisation and depreciation. “More hirers are benefiting from the versatility of the latest software, such as mobile working, giving staff the real-time information they need away from the main office. We are partnering with customers using a variety of devices, such as iPads, iPhones and BlackBerry smartphones, and we are developing optimised solutions for these different platforms. In this way, we can ensure the software matches hire companies’ requirements, and enables them to maximise their opportunities.”

MCS continues to enhance its software.
