Motorola XOOM


The Motorola XOOM is a superb large-screened tablet device, packing a 10.1-inch widescreen touchscreen display, powered by a speedy 1GHz dual-core processor and running on the Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) tablet-optimised operating system. The device is packed with features, including high-speed HSPA mobile data connectivity, Wi-Fi and A-GPS satellite positioning technology, and has a fabulous array of multimedia functionality. It has a full web browser with Adobe Flash support, and features fi ne music and video player functionality. It also packs a primary fi ve-megapixel camera for photography plus a secondary two-megapixel camera on the front for video calling, and has a strong suite of applications on board – including extensive email capability, document editing software, and a range of services from Google including Google Maps, Google Mail and YouTube.
