Saving time When quoting for work, a lot of time goes into locating the correct prices, product information, installation times and additional mark-ups. Further time is currently spent reworking the quotes if the customer changes their requirements. So it’s worth taking a look at how it all works with
WorkSmart. First, you select all the items you need for the job from a database supplied with the software. This database contains many thousands of industry-specific items, but it also has simple methods for finding items. These include tools to search by manufacturer, item type and even catalogue number, so that it takes just a few clicks of a mouse to get to the right information.
Of course, it’s also important to work with up-to-date prices
– without having to root around in catalogues, manufacturers’ websites or waiting for wholesaler quotes. Working with out- of-date prices can be disastrous and really eat into your profit margin. WorkSmart receives a trading data feed (subscription
service) direct from Luckins, with up-to-date price indexes for more than 200,000 items received from manufacturers. This means you can be confident that you are always working with current prices, so you aren’t caught out by any recent price rises.
Professional look WorkSmart offers you the facility to add your company/ governing body logo to your quotes for a professional look. This professional image can make a massive difference to the impression you create with a new customer and, ultimately, help you win work.
