RED CHILLI 1418: quartz flash curer from M&R.

It’s hot stuff M

M&R’s new flash curer is designed for use with the Diamondback L automatic textile press pictured below, right.

&R have announced the release of a new free standing flash curer the Red Chilli 1418. This quartz flash curer was originally designed for use with the new Diamondback L Automatic textile press but will actually work with most manual and automatic presses. Using sealed tungsten filament quartz lamps the Red Chilli uses instant- on lamp technology which conserves energy by reverting to standby when the press is idle. Good news for the pocket as well as the environment. The lamps are also divided into three zones which can be used independently or together. The Red Chilli utilises a sensor switch that can be positioned on either side of the unit allowing it to match the rotation direction of the press.

Furthermore the sensor does not require a signal from the press making it easy to move between head or presses without the need for time consuming set up. This also makes it an ideal unit for manual press flashing The curing module sits atop a height adjustable floor stand and a socket enables connection to either an M&R automatic machine or an optional foot operated control unit.

The Red Chilli 1418 is available in both single phase and three phase configuration so the workshop environment need never be a limiting factor. This new unit forms part of an impressive range of free standing infra-red and quart curers and can be seen by visiting www.mrprint.com ■ For more information contact Dave Roper on 01562 829009 or visit www.daveroper.co.uk

There is also a new Pre-Treater for the preparation required when printing dark fabrics. This unit delivers a fine spray with uniform coverage essential for the production of quality prints. It also

incorporates a closed spraying booth. Later this year the Texjet Pro will be launched with the latest generation of printhead for increased productivity. It will use 10 ink channels with 360 nozzles per channel which will double the printing speed when compared to earlier versions of the head. Also new is Polyprint Expressions software, allowing the user to instantly create and edit designs using hundreds of templates plus thousands of images. ■ For information call 02392 590281 or visit www.amayauk.com
