PEA6 PREVIEW

Six become seven as they take to the road again

Following the enormous success of the PEA6 road shows in 2010, the group are back on the road, but this time with an extra member, Nova Chrome. For more information about PEA6, the venues and the companies taking part visit www.PEA6.co.uk or contact any of the six participating companies.

N

ova Chrome have joined forces with the original six companies: BTC activewar, Graftiyp UK, Maderia UK,

Sharon Lee, Target Transfers and Your Embroidery Services Ltd, and will be attending an extended number of venues between September and October 2011. The diversity of the companies is great news for visitors as, between them, they cover most aspects of garment and product supply and decoration. The timing is also great as all of the shows take place when there is little around in terms of exhibitions and yet it can be a key time of the year for businesses to consider new product and investment.

As with the 2010 shows, garment supply is represented by BTC activewear and Sharon Lee; embroidery and print is represented by Your Embroidery Services Ltd; the transfer market is represented by Target Transfers; Cad Cut and print by Grafityp UK and embroidery threads and accessories by Madeira UK. But visitors this year will also be able to see the variety of dye sublimation processes offered by Nova Chrome.

When talking about PEA6 it is important to understand the difference between this and some other past shows. John-Paul Burton (sales director of YES Ltd) said “As with last yearʼs event the idea is to offer a wide variety of products and services. Road shows have, in the past, tended to concentrate on one aspect of the business but PEA6 is purposely aimed at being diverse and that will be supported even more this year with Nova Chrome coming on board.”

This is an important part of the success | 18 | August 2011

of the shows as it offers visitors the chance to look at other allied products and services in a more personal environment.

Starting on September 13 in Dublin the show will work its way around England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland finishing, 11 venues later, in Birmingham on Thursday October 27. Locations have been chosen with travel and convenience in mind. After all, itʼs no good having a show that no-one can get to. It is clear that Glenn Hyams of BTC activewear, being one of the originators of the event, is particularly excited about the prospect of meeting new and existing customers saying: “PEA6 takes the key decoration equipment and clothing to the customer.

“PEA6 is an opportunity you won’t want to miss!”

“All the venues have been chosen so that no one has to travel more than an hour to see seven of the decoration industryʼs best and most respected suppliers. With free parking and refreshments supplied all day, what better way to find out how the industryʼs leading suppliers can help you develop and grow your business and be first to see whatʼs new in 2012. With the original six suppliers now joined by leading sublimation supplier Nova Chrome and with 11 venues – an increase on 2010ʼs already successful road shows – we are really looking forward to meeting existing and new customers this Autumn.” The “new product” and “2012” references are particularly important as,

other than experiencing these products at PEA6, there wonʼt be another chance to see them until the exhibition season starts again in the spring giving PEA6 visitors that ʻheads upʼ advantage that most businesses really like.

The products on show are recognised as market leaders in the particular sector in which they are sold but it is important to understand that the companies representing them at PEA6 hold the same status within the UK and European markets.

The company names trip off the tongue easily being widely recognised as sources of good service as well as excellent product. A spokesman for new member Nova Chrome said: “We jumped at the opportunity to take part in PEA6. We heard about its success last year and noted that it really forged a place for itself in the calendar. Although only in its second year it has already carved out a reputation and that can be seen with the decision to maintain the original name even though there are now seven companies. PEA6 has become a brand in its own right and one that we are proud to be associated with. A quality road show with quality companies and quality products – who wouldnʼt want to be part of that?”

If you donʼt want to miss out the all of the information, including dates and venues, is available on the website or, of course, can be obtained from the individual companies. If you want to be ahead of the competition then the PEA6 road show is an opportunity you wonʼt want to miss!
