ost of us will have come across the situation sometime where we get some upstart newcomer appearing on the scene intent on making a big mark for themselves and thought to ourselves, do we really need this? Possibly even worse when itʼs your sibling brother or sister. Well that happened to Just Hoods by AWDis – the biggest selling hoodie brand in the country – in January. And whether it liked it or not a sibling appeared and boy is it growing up fast! Far from being unloved the printwear trade has taken it to its heart and the growth in Just Cool sales has been phenomenal, outstripping even the early months of three years ago after the launch of Just Hoods.
What is Just Cool? Just Cool is exclusively 100% polyester clothing presented as one of the most radical new concepts to hit the industry.
It was launched in three styles – a T shirt, polo shirt and sports vest, made in our very own super soft knit polyester fabric which has enough magnitude or volume in its knit construction to ensure cool comfort for sports, work and everyday use. We are so pleased with this fabric that it even has its own name, Neoteric.
Neoteric Polyester Fabric is the cornerstone of the Just Cool Comfort collection, 140gsm, incredibly comfortable, inherently wicking and fast drying from its deeply textured surface. It forms the ideal substrate for all kinds of embellishment including screen printing, transfer printing and embroidery. Neoteric polyester really is the perfect fabric to define strong colour and maintain dry comfort.
What else would you expect from AWDis? COLOURS, lots of them – the biggest range of colours in polyester garments of this type in the market place to be precise.
The collection was launched with ʻThree Great Styles, Thirty Great Coloursʼ and all of them matching their equivalent in the Just Hoods range. Yes you did read that correctly, 30 colours mean that there is a colour to suit every need, from darks to lights, muteds to neon, and everything in between. Any club or organisation can now be assured of a completely co-ordinated look in first and second layer clothing.

Where to next ? We predicted that 2011 would see the fastest ever growth in this type of polyester clothing with Just Cool leading the way and the first half of the year bears this out.
