(www.waynebotha.com) Why I came to coaching:

Project management is all about change, which can lead to stress for the project manager. Although it can be a normal part of any job, as it is for a project manager, stress wears you down mentally and physically. You can’t perform at your best when you endure stress for long periods. Long hours in front of your computer updating your project plan, scheduling meetings, and tracking everything eventually take their toll on you.

That is where I was—stressed—when I engaged Jerry Wistrom as my coach a few years ago. I was worn out and had constant back pain due to the stress of managing tough projects. My project management career had ground to a dead stop and all that I had 

The experience of being coached:

Jerry and I worked together to crystallize my ideas for the coming year, set goals, and then put plans in place to reach them. Jerry’s coaching was like no other developmental experience that I have been part of. The experiential coaching process is hard to describe, and I can’t do it justice by trying to put it into words. 
