We live in a fast world. We are constantly bombarded with information, new movies come out at breakneck speed, upgraded versions of phones and laptops are unveiled seemingly back-to-back, new restaurants pop up on the corner, and by the time we figure out how to work our new iPod, a better, cheaper, and faster version is stocked on the shelves. Tis is how our modern world emerges, constantly pressing in on us from the outside. But what about the changes and stirrings that are pressing from within?

Just like upgraded technology, a new you is always trying to emerge. We are always forming new interests, exploring hobbies, and entering new relationships (in addition to keeping up with part of the busy new world that is sprouting  “new you” are relatively simple. Looking for a new job seems overwhelming, he just received a promotion, and his workload really isn’t that bad. Tom continues to feed himself these same excuses even while that internal rumbling voice is calling  adventure.

There are two main paths to internal emergence: EASY and HARD. Tom has chosen hard. If you are one of these people and you would constantly hear the chatter of dissatisfaction as Tom has been hearing, you would likely feel compelled to move on and do something about it. But others, like Tom, tend to ignore that inner voice, which
