Sensitive parking


A 1,100sqm car park in Bishop Wilton has a surface structure created from ACO Water Management’s ground reinforcement system, ACO GroundGuard. The system’s open-cell design has been back-filled with soil and sown with grass giving the car park a porous, high load bearing finished surface that doesn’t require additional drainage infrastructure to manage its surface water run-off.

Extruded aluminium Aerofoil Fins, Fabricated Fins, and Ventilation and Screening Louvres were applied throughout the main terminal building, on an adjoining combined heat and power facility and on a link bridge, to prevent excessive solar heat gain and glare.

The membrane can be fully adhered using a range of special adhesives, as well as mechanically fixed, loose laid and ballasted
