launches Disaster
Recovery Suite

OGL Computer, an IT support & solutions provider based in the Midlands, UK, has now launched a Disaster Recovery Suite including office space to allow customers to relocate in the event of a disaster enabling them to maintain normal operation.
he Suite allows OGL customers to come and use the facilities in the event of a disaster at the customer’s premises, such as a fire or flood. The Disaster Recovery Suite enables its users to have access to their data and to continue working while their damaged site is repaired. The Suite is combined with OGL’s Offsite Recovery solution which enables users to have remote access to their data in
the event of a disaster. OGL’s Offsite Recovery solution provides automatic nightly backup via the internet of all mission critical data, e-mail, operating systems and applications, to OGL’s Tier-IV aligned data centre: the most secure classification of data centre available in the UK. In the event of a disaster, data can be accessed remotely by key workers from any broadband connection - including OGL’s Disaster Recovery Suite - within 24 hours. The Disaster Recovery Suite also provides all of the facilities you would expect from an office environment, including printing,
photocopying, faxing, plus the practicalities of ample on-site parking, a meeting room, plus a kitchen and a shower area. Should your business or employees not be located in the proximity to the OGL Disaster Recovery Suite, in Worcestershire, OGL is
also entering into partnership with office-space providers throughout the UK with the intention of providing the same office facilities, coupled with OGL’s Offsite Recover disaster recovery & offsite data backup system. “Adding a Disaster Recovery Suite at locations nationwide is the next logical step for our Offsite Recovery Solution. Our aim is
to make it as easy as possible for our customers to get back up and running after a disaster,” says OGL’s head of research and development, Paul Colwell.
