University Information: For the last 100 years Hanken School of Economics has shaped the future of many successful leaders. It is one of the oldest leading business schools in the Nordic countries. The school has been awarded two international accreditations – the EQUIS and AMBA accreditations. They are proof of Hanken’s high quality in teaching, research, internationalisation and corporate interaction. The relation of international students is higher at Hanken than in any other Finnish business university.


Hanken strives towards excellence in research in a few selected areas of strength selected by the School’s Board. The four areas are; Finance and Statistics, Intellectual Property Law, Management and Organisation, and Service and Relationship Marketing.

Hochschule Fresenius University of Applied Sciences Students: Approx. 3.500


University Information: The Hochschule Fresenius is a privately operated university accredited by the state. Founded in 1848 as Chemical Laboratory Fresenius in Wiesbaden (Germany), the university today maintains institutes in Idstein near Frankfurt, Cologne, Hamburg and Munich.


Programmes & Courses: Bachelor and Master programmes in full or part-time as well as vocational


education courses in the Faculties of Health, Chemistry and Biology and Economics and Media are being offered by the Hochschule Fresenius.


For international postgraduates, the Hochschule Fresenius offers Master of Science in International Pharmacoeconomics and Health Economics (MIPHE) and Master of Science in Bio and Pharmaceutical Analysis (MBPA)


The MIPHE programme is offered by the Welsh School of Pharmacy at the Cardiff University (Wales, UK) and leads to a Cardiff University award. It is jointly delivered by the HSF and Cardiff University at the HSF Idstein. The course lasts for four semesters (full-time) or six semesters (part-time). The MBPA prepares for a career in the chemical industry.
