Start your own business, become a more valuable employee, provide customer ser- vice for your business or organization, earn additional income or get recommissioned. This intensive one-day seminar is designed to equip you with everything you need to know to become an effective Notary. You
will find out about new legislation as well as how to pass the official Notary exam (must be taken every 4 years), identify document signers, keep a journal, fill out certificates and avoid lawsuits. The class includes a practice Notary Public Exam. Cooperative Personnel Service will register you for the exam from 4:15 pm to 4:30pm. The exam will be from 4:30-5:30pm. For the exam you will need the following: A $40 check made payable to “Secretary of State”; proper I.D.-current CA driver’s license with photo or state issued ID card; #2 pencils; 2”x2” passport color photo. Fingerprints are required after you pass the exam. PLEASE NOTE: Arrive early. Due to State regulations, no one will be admitted to the classroom after 8:30am. Be on time when coming back to class- room from breaks. A $30 materials fee will be collected in class.

In this highly interactive program, you will learn and practice the hands-on skills required to be a successful caregiver; develop basic Spanish language skills and cultural awareness to help you care for the elderly and disabled in the San Diego region; and develop the career skills necessary to conduct a successful job search. Intended for students interested in becoming a Medical Front Office/Medical Receptionist/Intake Coordinator, this course will ensure students are prepared to begin a rewarding career and to become an integral part of a medical office team. Students will receive a Certificate of Training from Palomar College upon completion of the program.
