Wales Brinsons Services

Brinsons are a long established multi-disciplined property practice offering a range of services with a personable and professional approach. Over many years Brinsons has established long term relationships with their clients advising on the commercial and residential property markets in South Wales.

Brinsons offers commercial sales, lettings and acquisitions covering the retail, office, industrial and land sectors. Our surveyors have in- depth market knowledge and are able to provide clients with advice throughout each stage of the buying and selling process.

Projects: Brinsons were involved in providing advice to a retained client on a multi-let industrial / trade counter development in South East Wales. From initial site acquisition advice through to introducing occupiers such as Screwfix, Toolstation, Howden’s and Greggs. We have been instrumental in securing the long-term occupiers and have since provided valuation advice on the potential investment sale.

Development & Lease Consultancy

Furthermore, we are able to offer clients advice on the sale or acquisition of strategic development sites across South Wales. With a large database of landowners, developers and national housebuilders, we can provide advice on the initial identification of a site through to valuation and marketing. Over the years we have built up a good rapport with small to medium size developers along with the national house builders such as Persimmon, Redrow, Taylor Wimpey and Barratts. We have provided advice to Local Authorities across the region and introduced potential residential and mixed-use schemes to Housing Associations including Pobl, Linc Cymru and United Welsh.

Knight Frank strengthens team in Cardiff

Property consultancy Knight Frank has strengthened its team in Cardiff with the appointment of Tom Griffiths as a graduate surveyor.

He joins from Cardiff Council where he has been working on property disposals in its Strategic Estates Department.

Tom, 27, is due to complete a Masters degree in Real Estate Management at the UWE Bristol in April and will complete studying for his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) qualification - the practical training and assessment which leads to membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) - next Spring.

During that period he will also work on a range of projects for Knight Frank’s Industrial & Logistics and Residential Development teams in Cardiff.

He said: “Knight Frank is a global brand and I consider them the best property company to work for in Cardiff. The city is an exciting market and Knight Frank is involved in many of its largest property schemes. I have a genuine passion about Cardiff and its role in Europe and Knight Frank is a great place to be involved in to help build that story.”

Matt Phillips, head of the Knight Frank office in Cardiff said: “We are always keen to grow our team organically by recruiting graduates who can go on to become the firm’s leaders of the future and Tom fits that profile perfectly. His commercial property experience at Cardiff Council is particularly relevant.”

Greggs, Dominos Pizza and Esquires Coffee join existing occupiers such as Tesco, Subway and Poundstretcher.
