Devised by Welsh theatre company Taking Flight, The Curious Case Of Aberlliw is an interactive family theatre show which debuted in 2021. This year’s edition has been boosted by “REAL LIFE ACTORS”, in the company’s upper-case words, and will feature in Bangor and Barry – plus Cardiff and Newport festivals Unity and The Big Splash. Running over a full day in hour-long slots, the premise is that the Welsh town Aberlliw has had all its colour stolen, and participants must assist on a detective mission to retrieve it…


here as “a play for voices” and performed as part of this year’s Cardiff Open Air Theatre Festival.
