This waterside bar is the sort of spot that comes into its own during summer, and it has an extensive list of danceable events from now until September. Notable among them are the Sisters In House sessions, which are on the last Friday in June, July and August and advertises a baker’s dozen of DJing women, a pleasant corrective to a club scene whose lineups are still more male-dominated than other UK cities (most of which aren’t great either). There’ll also be dance performances from the Welsh ballroom community, who’ve been getting increasingly talked about of late.
