Nice to see this back in the schedules: 16 days of standup bills, comedic theatre and masterclasses in things like comic art and onstage magic. This year’s Neath Comedy Festival is sold through the town’s flagship venue the Gwyn Hall but takes place in eight venues total. Welsh fave Ignacio Lopez kicks us off on Thurs 2 June and Simon ‘Lee Nelson’ Brodkin closes on Sat 18; highlights in between include Tom Binns in the Duke on Thurs 16 and a Welsh-language night including Noel James and Lorna Prichard [pictured].
