RDF says that “maintaining recommissions of long running, high volume series and developing and producing new innovative formats for various UK broadcasters” has been a big achievment this year, especially “during a time of
company restructure and industry recovery since the pandemic.” RDF reckons the outlook for the year ahead is “challenging but optimistic” as there are “new opportunities to develop and produce ambitious new formats.” RDF says that the “audience is hungry for new, original programming as well as welcoming a refreshed approach to more traditional popular formats that have been off screen for a while.”
RDF says that its greatest challenges have been around “making as smooth a transition as possible following senior
management changes, reassuring long term staff of the continued emphasis on strong production values and

developing new business strategies to safeguard long term plans for growth.”
